Khalsa Cricket Cup won by Khalsa King Delhi |
Annually organized Khalsa Cricket Cup Jaipur, is being held for the last five days. Where twelve teams from different locations joined the cricket cup. Khalsa King Delhi won by 19 runs, however Captain Jasmeet Singh of Bhai Taru Singh Ji did his best to score well.
Jaipur: Khalsa Cricket Cup Jaipur is being held for the last five days in St Anslam Cricket Academy, Jagatpura. It was the final round between Bhai Taru Singh Singh Ji, Jaipur and Khalsa King Delhi today.
It was started at 12: PM after reaching chief guest S. Ajaypal Singh; president Sikh Samaj Rajasthan and Mata Kuldeep Kaur president of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle Jaipur. The program was initiated by the Gurmat Gian Group (GTB Nagar) and Sikh Sangat of Jaipur.
Khalsa King Delhi bat first, team leader Sunder Singh and non-striker Ramdas Singh started quite well with 35 runs in power play. In the last, the whole team scored 176 with losing five wickets.
After losing the first wicket of Ramdas, Anil Singh scored 48 including two sixes and five boundaries in partnership with leader Sunder Singh. He scored 41 runs two sixes and five boundaries.
Dimpy Singh and Captain Golu Singh contributed 39 and 24 runs including three sixes and one boundary. Which took the match on another level by winning the final match.
However, the team had good players and they were prepared well.
Runner-up team Bhai Taru Singh Ji did their well. Captain Jasmeet Singh scored 36 runs including one six and five boundaries. He was the one who scored well among his team members.
Unfortunately, his team could not play well and Bhai Taru singh lose the final match by 19 runs.
Talking to S. Ajaypal Singh, he once again assured Sikligar Sikhs and other Sikhs of Jaipur that they will organize more games and help them with every single thing that they need to complete the training. Whether it is in hockey, cricket and other games.

Thousands of audience joined the match and the cricket ground reverberated of Je karas “bole sonihal, sat shri akal.”
